Paper Cutouts

Artquest London 30/30 challenge February 2026

Inspired by the challenge of making a new piece of work each day for 30 days during the month of February, I began experimenting with painted and monoprinted paper cut outs. This was a new way of working for me and produced some interesting results. I’m particularly fond of ‘Blue Nest.’ I am very pleased to have received funding from Moving Art Management for a visit to Paris in June to see Matisse 1941-1954 at The Grand Palais. Really look forward to studying his amazing cut outs in person.
