Life drawing is the foundation of drawing practice — learning to really see, understand and respond to the human form. It develops observation, proportion, composition and mark-making.
You don’t have to be ‘good at drawing’ — life drawing is about looking, responding and discovering what happens when you put pencil to paper.
Life drawing is both a creative practice and a form of mindfulness: focused time spent looking, responding and making through art.

Event FAQs

Is car parking available at the Studios?

Car parking is easy at Mole Studios , the studio door is a few yards from the car park .

Please note that the landscaping is not finished and that there is a step up from ground level into the studio.

Who are the classes for?

The studio is a space for anyone: beginners who want to loosen up or more experienced artists who wish to bring greater energy and immediacy to their work. My classes are designed to gently reconnect with the joy of making art without pressure or judgment.

Here, art isn’t about being ‘good’ it’s about expression, confidence and finding your own unique way of seeing the world.
